Planning a trip to the Cantigny grounds this week. Highlights include house of Robert McCormick founder of the Tribune, beautiful grounds and gardens, and of course the First Division Tank "museum".

So I'll be bringing my camera and we'll see what inspiration I can come up with for shots. Weather is looking shakey over the next few days with Friday being the next forecasted clear day. So I'll probably have the photos sorted out and posted by the weekend :)

What can one say that would make this seem worthwhile and memorable? I dunno, but a self description is always a pain.

I enjoy many forms of art, but original computer creations and graphite/charcoal are my two favorite mediums. I am an amateur photographer who is looking to make more out of it. I wouldn't call myself an artist, but there are those who disagree. I just capture the way I see things around me and put my own spin on things in my life. No more, no less.

Thanks for adding me to your watch!! Are you going to the Deals Gap RX8 meet in April? We have a group of people started that are going to caravan our way down there, there are already over 50 registered for the meet. It's a cool place too, a stretch of highway nearby called the Tail of the Dragon... 11 miles, 318 turns! Anyway, let me know if you or any people from Illionois are planning on going and we can meet up along the way.

I've heard about Deals Gap and Tail of the Dragon before. I didn't make it out last year, plus I still (sadly) don't have an Rx-8. I am in regular contact with the local 8 club (Evolv Chicago) so if I do go I'll probably be caravaning with them too :)

Cool, I think one of those guys is riding with us, his name is Chris Kalia****** something, can't remember right now. We have a group on Facebook where we chat up meets that the local guys are going to. Search "Cedar Valley Mazda RX-8 Club" on Facebook if you're interested :)
